Career Summary

• He was born in 1973 in Istanbul. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1996 with top honors. In 2000, he completed his specialization in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. In 2004-2005, he completed his residency in Retinal Diseases and Vitreoretinal Surgery at Johns Hopkins University Wilmer Eye Institute. He became Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2011. Since 2007, he has been working at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. He served as the Chief Physician of Yeditepe University Eye Center between 2014 - 2017.
